Finch

I think it's a Cassin's finch but I won't swear to it; I'm not an ornithologist. Photographed on a California beach very close to the Mexican border during Comic-Con 2010. There were a dozen or so of these birds in the area but this was the only one who held still long enough for me to get a picture.
