DeviantArtist Questionnaire

1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?

Eight years, eleven months, although some days it seems like a hell of a lot longer.


2. What does your username mean?

The first part of my username comes from the Cassini spacecraft, currently in orbit around Saturn. The spacecraft itself was named in honor of Giovanni Domenico Cassini, an Italian astronomer who lived during the 1600's and made some noteworthy observations about the planet. The second part, 90125, was the title of an album by the progressive rock band Yes, one of the greatest bands in music history.

3. Describe yourself in three words.

I can't.

4. Are you left or right handed?

Right handed.

5. What was your first deviation?

Wilt and a skyscraper Paint is a very underrated program.

6. What is your favourite type of art to create?

Abstract. More specifically, symmetrical images made by editing photos of traffic and street lights, such as this recent image: Electric I've made a little over four thousand of these, although I've only uploaded a very few of them. Mostly I upload photographs of various things that caught my eye, taken in various locations that I was visiting or passing through.

7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?

Fantasy art. Some of the pieces I've seen here are absolurely breathtaking.

8. What was your first favourite?

Comic Strip Still a Foster's fanart classic.

9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?

Fanart, specifically of Frankie Foster from Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, the best show that Cartoon Network ever aired.

10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?

Hard to say but probably Claudio51. His "Land of the Spheres" work never fails to impress and delight me.

11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?

12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?

Sorry, no one that I've met here has had a particularly significant impact on my life. I've made some friends but that's as far as it goes.

13. What are your preferred tools to create art?

My camera (currently using a Nikon CoolPix L830), ScreenHunter 6.0, Flame Painter 3.2, Paint, and a great deal of patience.

14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?

No specific place, really; ideas may come to me anywhere. Actual creation takes place mostly on my computer.

15. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?

Getting a particularly shrill rule-breaking pornographer banned.
